Video to Prompt Generator

Drop in a public video. We watch it and write 8 or 10 second prompts you can paste into Google Flow, with faces, spoken lines, and sound.

  • One prompt per 10 seconds
  • Face stills for Flow
  • 3 free runs a day
Free

YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook. Public posts only. Lite is quicker. Quality looks closer at the same 60 seconds.

3 a day, first 60 seconds, 40MB max. Pro isn’t out yet.

How the prompts work

Flow makes one clip per paste. A 10-second Short should be one prompt, even if the camera cuts.

01

Keep the faces

Grab a close-up of each person from the original. In Flow, add those stills as Ingredients so the face doesn’t drift.

02

Cuts stay in the prompt

Shot changes are marked like [00:00–00:02] inside one 10-second prompt. Set Flow to 10s and generate once.

03

What’s free

We read the first 60 seconds, 3 times a day, files up to 40MB. The same YouTube link doesn’t count twice.

This kitchen spot is made up, so you can see the format. A real minute would be six clips; two are shown. Your own pack appears under the form after you generate.

  1. Prompt 1 · 00:0000:10 · 10s

    Full 10s prompt

Exactly 10 seconds, 9:16. Generate as ONE video — not separate short clips. Use the uploaded character reference image as Flow Ingredients for Maya. Keep her face identical to that still. Style: photorealistic UGC. Sunlit kitchen. [00:00-00:10] Medium-wide slow push-in on Maya. She places a glass bottle on the island and looks to camera. Says "This one swap changed my mornings." SFX: glass on stone, kettle. Music: soft acoustic, no lyrics.

  2. Prompt 2 · 00:1000:20 · 10s

    Full 10s prompt

Exactly 10 seconds, 9:16. ONE video. Use Maya's reference still as Ingredients. [00:10-00:20] Medium shot, slow orbit. She unscrews the cap and pours amber liquid. Says "No sugar crash. Just clean energy." SFX: cap twist, pour.

Voice-over

  • 00:0000:10 This one swap changed my mornings.
  • 00:1000:20 No sugar crash. Just clean energy.

In Flow

  1. Generate clip 1 in Flow at 10s, 9:16.
  2. Export a clean last frame.
  3. Use that frame as the first frame of clip 2 (or Extend).
  4. Keep the same face stills on every prompt so wardrobe and voice don’t jump.

Questions

What do I actually get?

For a 10-second video, one 10-second Flow prompt. Camera cuts sit inside timestamps. You also get a short character sheet for Flow Ingredients, and the lines that were spoken. Longer videos get one prompt per 10-second stretch.

My Short has a lot of cuts. Will I get lots of tiny prompts?

No. Those cuts stay inside one 10-second prompt, marked like [00:00-00:02]. Set Flow to 10 seconds and generate once, not five 2-second clips.

Which links work?

Public YouTube (including Shorts), Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Facebook videos. Private, unlisted, and Stories won’t work. You can always upload an MP4 instead.

How long can the video be?

Free covers the first 60 seconds, which is about 6 Flow jobs. A 20-second Short is two cards. A minute is six. You get 3 free runs a day. The same YouTube link is remembered for 48 hours. Uploads max out at 40MB.

Do you keep my video?

The file goes to Gemini so it can watch it, then we throw the file away. We don’t run a public archive of other people’s videos.

Does this make the video for me?

No. Video to Prompt Generator writes the prompts. You paste them into Google Flow, Veo, Kling, or whatever you use.

Is there a Pro plan?

Not yet. Free is 3 runs a day and the first 60 seconds. Pro will add longer videos and more daily runs when it’s ready. Nothing to buy today.
